Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-30
These terms apply between Eveny and every club that uses the service, its organisers, and the people who sign up to its events. Plain language on purpose; where a term has a legal meaning, that meaning applies.
Who we are
Eveny is run by Felix Stenberg, a private individual in Stockholm, Sweden. Write to hej@eveny.app.
The service
Eveny gives a club a wall on the web (pictures, events and free text on one canvas), events with sign-ups, waitlist, reminders and check-in, a guest book of who came, members-only walls, and sponsors shown on the wall and on chosen events. Every club is hosted at its own address under eveny.app, or on its own domain with Pro.
Organisers
An organiser creates a club and signs in through Clerk. You are responsible for what your club publishes: that the information is accurate, that you have the right to publish the pictures and texts you put on the wall, and that people who appear in pictures have agreed to it.
You are responsible for your members' and guests' data. For that data the club is the controller and Eveny is its processor, acting on the club's instructions. A data processing agreement is available on request by mail. Use the guest book for the club's own purposes only.
Guests and members
You sign up with name and email address; the club chooses how a sign-up is confirmed. There is no account or password. You can cancel a sign-up, download your data and erase yourself at any time on your own page. Whether you become a member of a club, and what that means, is the club's decision.
Acceptable use
Do not publish or send content that is unlawful, hateful or harassing, or that you have no right to. Do not use the service to spam. Do not scrape, crawl or otherwise read the service automatically beyond the public API a club may use for its own site. Do not try to get around access rules or disturb the service. We may remove content and, in serious cases, suspend a club.
Free and Pro
Free gives a public wall, unlimited events and sign-ups, the guest book, one organiser and a small Eveny mark on the wall. Pro adds a members-only wall, approval of members, a yes or no on each sign-up, mail to all members, sponsors and the sponsor report, your own photo as background, several organisers, a custom domain and the wall without the product mark.
Pro is billed monthly, once billing exists; until then Pro is granted by agreement. The price is shown before you buy. We may change the price with 30 days' notice. You may cancel at any time; Pro then continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are not refunded for part of a period.
Domains and sponsors
A custom domain is the club's: the club owns it and points it at us. Sponsorships are agreements between the club and its sponsors; we are not a party to them and take no share of them. Sponsor content follows the same rules as everything else on the wall.
Availability
The service is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and quick, and our database provider keeps backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features.
Termination
A club can end its account by writing to us, until it can be done from the settings; the wall, events and guest data are then deleted, except what we must keep by law. We may suspend or end a club's account for abuse of these terms or for unpaid fees, with notice when that is reasonable. Guests can erase themselves at any time.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for a club is limited to the fees that club paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost income or data that the club could have kept a copy of. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may change these terms. Changes that matter are mailed to organisers 30 days before they take effect. Using the service after that is accepting the change.
Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts. Consumers may also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
